Holocaust Education Institute

The Holocaust Education Institute is designed for Missouri middle and high school educators who currently teach or plan to teach about the Holocaust. Institute sessions will provide a collaborative forum to learn about rationales, strategies and approaches to teaching the complex subject of the Holocaust to students.  Participants will create lesson plans aligned to the Missouri Learning Standards which will be posted on-line and shared with educators across the state.

The cost for each participant is $150 which includes materials, housing, most meals, and transportation to the St. Louis Holocaust Museum and Learning Center. Complete details are available on the registration form.  Participants will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.


This four-day Holocaust Education Institute is funded by a grant from the Missouri Humanities Council and support from the St. Louis Holocaust Museum and Learning Center, Midwest Center for Holocaust Education, The National Churchill Museum, University of Missouri, Rubin and Gloria Feldman Family Education Institute of the Holocaust Museum and Learning Center, Peter and Carol Winston.
