Melvin Dubinsky was one of four St. Louis Jewish community leaders who spent time in displaced persons’ camps in France, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Palestine in 1948 as part of the Joint Distribution Committee. He tells about subsequent trips to Europe and Israel and his leadership roles in the resettlement process. He also describes other leaders of that period.
